Children are bundles of joy to all and sundry and who says our popular
male celebrities can’t share in this blessing. However a bunch of them
are proud fathers but still enjoy their unfettered single life without
any marital attachments. Here are 10 Nigerian male celebrities who are
fathers but are still yet to tie the knot:
1) Wizkid
Starboy Wizzy is one highly successful artiste in the Nigerian music industry and his music has gone far and wide. He is also a proud father to a cute little boy by the name of Boluwatife Balogun who he flaunts openly on social media.
2) Flavour
Flavour, whose real name is Chinedu Okoli is arguably one the biggest
acts in Nigeria today. The Golibe crooner has a child with Ex- Delta
soap queen, Sandra Okagbue. The couple welcomed the birth of their child
in September 2014. Flavour has also been rumoured to be dating former
MBGN, Anna Banner.
3) Olamide
With endorsement deals pouring in from all angles and a stellar music
career so far, Olamide has proven he won’t be backing down any time soon
as he continues churning hit after hit. He however recently churned out
one ‘hit’ that was the talk of the town- a beautiful baby boy who he
named Maximiliano Batifeori Adedeji. Present at the child’s naming was
Lagos State governor, Babatunde Fashola.
4) Oritse Femi
He may have been around for a while now but Oritsefemi Majemite Ekele better known by his first name, Oritse Femi got his big break in 2014 with the release of ‘Double Wahala’ which earned him an award at the 2014 Headies. The singer has two children from two different women and he has since said that he does not plan to marry any of his ‘Baby Mamas’.
5) 9ice
9ice may be on a low key right now due to a foray into politics that didn’t turn out so well but he influenced a lot of artistes doing indigenous music today. The Photocopy crooner now has 4 children from three different women.
6) Timaya
Popularly hailed as the ‘Egberi Papa One of Bayelsa’, Enetimi Alfred Odom whose stage name is Timaya is the king of club bangers in Nigeria and has also collaborated with international stars like Sean Paul. He has a daughter named Barbara who was born in 2012.
7) Obafemi Martins
Obafemi Martins fondly referred to as Obagoal was a beast on the field of soccer during the prime of his career. He now has three sons from three different women. His last son was with Liverpool player, Ballotelli’s sister and they have been living together for some time now without being married.
8) Patoranking
Reggae/Dancehall star, Patrick Nnaemeka or Patoranking’s tale of rags to riches is one that will elicit tears from your eyes. Now that he is a well known superstar, his son doesn’t have to share the same fate. The young boy known on social media as ‘Rapharanking’ born to Patrick by his current girlfriend is a spitting image of his father.
9) Ice Prince
Chocolate City rap sensation, Panshak Zamani aka Ice Prince may be getting mixed reviews over his recently released mixtape, the Trash Can EP, but his bundle of joy, his son Jamal Zamani, will always be there to put a smile on the rapper’s face. The proud father had his son, Jamal with his girlfriend, Bimbo Babatunde in 2012.
