A first class monarch in Ondo State, Oba Fredercik Obateru Akinruntan, has been accused of hijacking the materials for the governorship and House of Assembly elections in the state.
The allegation was levelled by the All Progressives Congress in a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed.
Akinruntan, who is the Okoro Ajiga 1 of Ugbo Kingdom, was alleged to have hijacked the materials in Ilaje Local Government Area. He allegedly did it in collusion with the Peoples Democratic Party.
His son is a candidate of the PDP for the House of Assembly.
