The Sun reports that the family is in profound distress not just in light of the fact that their dad and provider is dead, yet the way in which he passed away. It was learnt that the perished, Mr. Okorie who was in his late 60s and father of four supposedly passed on in the loins of his sweetheart, Nneoma (surname withheld), a Banking and Finance understudy of the Ebonyi State University (EBSU), Abakaliki.
Okorie, who possessed a piece making industrial facility, was purportedly tricked to the 'home of death' close to the Presco grounds of the college by the darling young lady who professedly acted with an alternate sweetheart of hers, whose first name was given as Alex. Be that as it may, it was uncovered that on the day Okorie kicked the bucket, he got a call from Nneoma, requesting that him reach her in a five-story inn off Goddy Ogbaga Avenue in Abakaliki, the state capital.
On getting there, it was learnt, that the two "lovebirds" started to do those things that mates do and her school sweetheart, Alex, seemed all of a sudden on the scene like an apparition. What's more the man passed on the whole time. Circumstantially, the late Okorie, Nneoma and Alex are said to hail from the same group.
As per Sunnews, a police source said:
"What happened was that the man was baited by a young lady he has been helping as a family companion and/or beau to some place in Abakaliki. Imagining that all was well, he went to respect the call. Obscure to him, the young lady's sweetheart had effectively made a few plans to either debilitate or threaten and blackmail cash from him. Yet the whole time, while in the purported sweetheart's room, he passed on.
