25 year old Chris Brown is a father to a nine month old daughter.
TMZ broke the news, stating Chris Brown’s baby’s mother is a 31 year old model named Nia, not his current girlfriend of many years, 26 year old Karrueche Tran.
This seems to be a rising “trend” for African-American male celebrities. In the past two years, Dwyane Wade & Ludacris had kids with other women (not their girlfriends) and both claimed they were on ‘breaks’ from their relationships at the time. This phenom has led to the term “break babies”. At the moment, #BreezysBreakBaby is trending on Twitter.
The two men went on propose and marry their then girlfriends – Hollywood actress Gabrielle Union & Eudoxie respectively.
